Little Things #26
My, oh my, time flies when you're having fun. Or in other words, you're super busy at work because you're going on holiday and you have far too much to do and not enough time. It's been weeeeks since I last gave you a little update on what's going on in my life and keeping me ticking over, so in a bid to avoid packing for my holiday, I thought I'd do just that.

Little Things #25
You know those weekends where you need a whole other weekend to recover, I just had one of them. We had Jays grandparents and dad up for a few days and whilst I enjoyed spending time with them, my sleepover in the spare room and all the good food that was consumed, I'm so glad to have the flat back to normal. It's been a hectic week with work, and with going home for the next three weekends I don't think my life will be slowing down anytime soon.
- I've raised £180 so far for my charity hair cut with help from some very generous people. If you want to add to this donation click here.
- We've booked another holiday for the end of August and I'm counting down the days!
- PLL returns tomorrow, however my feelings towards this are very mixed.
- I attended an event with work which included lots of free ice-cream and it was great.
- My wardrobe has expanded with all these summer sales.
- Jason's nan brought up a fresh batch of mince pies and I'm skipping past the mince pies are for Christmas rule.
- My sunflower is storming, just waiting for those pretty yellow petals to appear now.
Till next week

Little Things #24
This post comes to you from a rather rosy Beth. Don't worry kids, I did apply sun-cream, just maybe not enough. I'm also sporting a huge-arse blister on my heel from our country walk, but when you get views like this one, it's worth it.
- My trip home resulted in a gossip with my childhood BFF, a lunch with one of my girlfriends and lots of family time.
- This trailer was released and I'm a little bit obsessed.
- We went into a travel agents to pick up some holiday brochures for our next trip and it's got us dreaming of all sorts of places.
- I went on a successful Wisteria hunt.
- My ELLE magazine was delivered with a free Benefit brow pencil and free Benefit eyebrow wax, what a freebie.
- To relive our Barcelona days, Jay and I had a spectacular tapas night. It included the likes of tomato bread, all the ham and lots of yummy tapas dishes.
- I've finally set a date to get 10" of my mop chopped off for The Little Princess trust, and have started fundraising along the way.
- I found a new calling in life with this vase of floral-perfectness.
- Our RHS magazine arrived and it's full of flowers, flowers and more flowers.
I seem to have an obsession with flowers.

Little Things #23
What better way to round off the weekend with Pocahontas on the TV and chocolate by your side (Since I jet off to Barcelona next week I should probably be replacing chocolate with lettuce leaves but yolo!) This week may not have had me topping up my non-existent tan, but it did have me going for a wander outside of the city, pit-stopping for an afternoon tea and discovering there is an ice-cream boat that sails down the river.
- We also took a bit of a detour and stumbled across the allotments, which we're currently on the waiting list for, and it's got me planning all sorts of things on Pinterest.
- Jay celebrated his twenty-second birthday this week and one of his brothers brought him a new board game so you can only guess how we've been spending our evenings.
- We've started a sunflower competition at work and mine is finally growing. {The tortoise and the hare taught me that slow and steady wins the race}
- Another client win meant celebrations with prosecco. I love my job.
- At the start of the month I caught up with some of my uni girlfriends with a visit to the big smoke.
- Our calamondin (mini-citrus tree) has finally started flowering which means we will soon be graced with tiny little oranges.
- Once Upon A Time has had me in pieces over the last few episodes and I don't think I'm ready for the upcoming 2 hour finale.
- To celebrate Eurovision we had a feast at work, followed by an impromptu visit from the ice-cream man, what a Friday.
- I bought a new sun hat in preparation for our travels and I'm a little bit obsessed.
- Shay Mitchell shared some of her twenties life-lessons, which makes it a-okay to say no to a crazy night out and instead spend it in your pjs watching chic flicks,
not that I'd do that anyways. - We purchased a picnic blanket and it's already been out for its first spin.
Till next week amigos.

Little Things #22
This week has reminded me of one thing, how terrible I am at painting my nails. Apparently buying new nail polishes doesn't automatically make you an A* nail painter, so I know what I'm going to be doing tonight. This last week{end especially} has been a busy one, and whilst it didn't start off the fresh-est, it ended pretty well with too much ice-cream and not enough vegetables, weekends are cheatends.
- Because Mr. Sunshine treated us to his presence from rise-to-set I managed to get out on a few jogs this week by the river.
- The Queen turned 90 and being the royalist I am, I loved every minute. Especially all of the pictures of George, how adorable is he!
- To celebrate said 90th birthday we headed to one of the local parks and ate fish n chips on a bench, watched a beacon being lit and sang Happy Birthday to HRH.
- And as if I wasn't broody enough with all the pictures appearing of George, we had visit to the office from 4-day-old Cooper. He just slept in my arms and I could have quite happily taken him home with me.
- I discovered there is a Twitter account for when and where York smells like chocolate, and it made my day.
- I'm a little bit in love with my new shoes- paired with a stripy top and I feel like I should be on a catwalk. {with some jeans obvs!}
- We saw The Jungle Book at the cinema this week and it was amazing, I could quite happily go again, but maybe without the three rows of school kids in front of us.
- Jay's mum and friend have been up this weekend so we spent our days shopping, walking and eating.
- And I finally replaced my broken converse with a sparkling new pair.
Now here's to hoping this week goes quickly so we can welcome in May with a lovely three day weekend!

Little Things #21
My blogging game has been a shamble so far this month. I can only apologise for the cracking content you've been missing out on. I can't even blame it on the fact that I have a life as many of my evenings have been spent searching the internet for cushions, I'm halfway there. I do have the excuse that two evenings of my week are spent sitting in on a Social Media Course and I spend my weekends away from my laptop screen, so I suppose it counts, sort of. These weekends have given me all kinda kicks...
- I managed to maintain my dignity at my first work social which included a team-building activity followed by an afternoon/evening/night of drinking. I felt
god damn awful and suffered from a two-day hangoveras fresh as a daisy for work on the Monday. - My flat is filled with tulips and daffodils- I just can't get enough.
- I've consumed my body-weight in Dolly Mixtures this month
- The Saccone-Joly's have announced they're expecting baby number three- I am beyond excited.
- We took advantage of the sun and headed down the park for a game of ping-pong. There were also lots of ducklings and I just wanted to take them home.
- I'm a member of the work fun committee which pleases my inner-organisation-freak-self.
- My desk has been updated with a new folder and pen pots.
- Kensington Palace have been documenting Wills and Kate's trip to India and I've loved it.
- Sunny days mean we find fun things to do such as hire a pedalo.
- Last Friday we went for a team outing for lunch at the local carvery and I left in a complete ice-cream coma.
- The Durrells has turned into our new Sunday routine.

Little Things #20
We're five days in and I feel like April is fully living up to it's rainy nature- I'm over here trying to prep my spring wardrobe and move forward into the times of shoes that don't require socks. Alas, weather moaning aside. It's been a little while since I posted a life update, and in-between trying to come up with healthy ways I can eat/bake/cook my growing pile of chocolate I've managed to lead a relatively interesting life with some mildly interesting things that keep me content in my little world.
1. It's 47 days till we jet off to Barcelona so preparation has begun.
2. Part of this preparation includes ensuring I'm not as pale as a ghost when baring my legs, so I'm currently trialling Garnier's sun kissed skin moisturiser. {when I say trialling I mean trying it for a few more days as a rash coincidently appeared which is because of a) the product or b) my eczema}
3. I discovered Malton has the best ice-cream parlour.
4. Rumour has it we could see a Princess Diaries 3 in the foreseeable future.
5. I dressed up as a ballerina for Sports Relief and got everyone in the office to play chbby bunnies.
6. We popped into the city, and I ended up in Zara. I cannot walk in without walking out with a purchase so I now have this, this and the pictured top in my wardrobe.
7. Easter = food, friends and family. The best kind of alliteration.
8. We visited a farm over the weekend and I made friends with some lambs.
9. Spike outgrew his pot, so we bought a pretty new pot, did some gardening and left Spike 1 resembling a pineapple.
10. I'm up to date on Once Upon a Time and the fact that Swan and Hook are getting it back on makes me super happs.
11. I've regained my student status by enrolling on a Social Media Marketing course for the next 4 weeks.
12. Tonight has been reserved for the Daredevil final. We have sweets and everything.

Little Things #19
Happy Monday chums! It's finally starting to feel like Spring, hallelujah! (Not like it's taken 14 days or anything...) As of yesterday I became a contact lens wearer. I can't say I'm currently digging poking myself in my eyes voluntarily, but it takes me back to my 19 year old days before uni ruined my eyesight and I could see clearly without glasses. On the topic of eyes, my conjunctivitis has cleared up and I've bought some brand spanking new make-up to make sure it doesn't come back, so this week was a pretty good week for my eyes!
- I also bought a, wait for it, banana bag from H&M for a bargain £1. I don't eat bananas, I don 't like bananas, but I thought it'd be a great little accessory for a summer holiday.
- We took a 4 mile hike round some Yorkshire towns and hills, and made friends with the cutest pony.
- We then went for tea & cake after.
- I've been getting a lift to work every day this week and it has been gr8.
- Once Upon a Time returned to our screens and I feel like a fan girl feels at a One Direction concert.
- We headed to Malton for their monthly food market and had pizza and ice-cream for lunch- just counterbalancing the salads I've been eating all week.
- The royals released some family ski trip photos and they are #goals.
- On Saturday night we had some friends round for drinks and a catch up about life and it felt like such a grown up thing to do.
This week is going to be leading up to a trip home for a 1st birthday party, so I'm super excited about that. No doubt it'll go as slowly as possible now!

Little Things #18
Happy Mothering Sunday to all those Mumma's out there. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today without my Mumma, quite literally, so to thank you for being you I'm going to dedicate this post to you, you lucky thing. This week has been a pretty good week minus the wet weather and the fact I currently have conjunctivitis, not cool. But British complaints aside, I have a whole bank of things that have made my week a wonderful one.
1. I am no longer a bus w-anchor as my wonderful agency have employed a new guy who lives just down the road to me. Hell yeah to an extra hour in bed each morning.
2. I treated myself to this super cute top from Oliver Bonas and it's totally appropriate for this coming month.
3. Tom Fletcher released a new video this week and it was not what I expected, but it didn't disappoint.
4. This week I celebrated my 1 month workversary and it was a giant party like any other day at work.
5. After 4 long weeks, Jay was offered a post-graduate job at York Hospital which means come July we will both be real-life adults, with two real-life incomes coming in.
6. Naturally we went out for food to celebrate- I had a burger.
7. Our estate agents have finally sorted someone to come and fix our blind that has metal rods sticking out of it left, right and centre. It's only taken 7 months.
8. Royal Mint have released a new coin design with Peter Rabbit, and it is adorable. {Although it has currently sold out.}
9. I caught up with PLL this week, I was two episodes behind, and it's safe to say my heart breaks a little even more at Spoby.
It's probably about time for some more eyedrops, however I react in a similar way to Rachel from friends, click here if you have no idea what I'm on about, so it's not going to be a pleasant experience.

Little Things #17
1. I bought the most beautiful dress for my 'little' sister's first birthday
2. I happened to buy the exact same boots as my mum, at the exact same time, on the same day, 140 miles away. How freaky.
3. My favourite celeb family was extended with the arrival of Buddy Boy Fletcher, I cannot wait till we get to see his little face.
4. We got doughnuts delivered to the office and it was a dream. I even managed to have some self control and only have one- one of the team had five!
5. Last weekend we ventured into the coffee shop that we can see from our window and what a decision that was. The cakes and fairy lights make it so Instagram worthy.
6. Adele took part in an Ellen prank and it is hilarious!
7. This week was payday. It's been 5 months since I last had a payday. Safe to say I'm feeling pretty rich
8. Tim Peake presented one of Adele's Brit awards and she cried. It was great.
9. We may have finally come up with a new agency name for the beginnings of our rebrand and it's all super exciting.
This week we enter March and I can't wait for lighter evenings and warmer days, I'm done with these freezing temperatures.

Little Things #16
Happy Valentine's Day to all you lovers, and singletons, out there. My day so far has consisted of food, movies and food and we're off for an Italian tonight- did I say I was meant to be on a diet? #whatdiet. This upcoming week is going to be a busy one with my folks arriving tomorrow for a couple of days then Jay's brothers & partners heading up on Friday, talk about hostess with the mostess. It also explains why there hasn't been one of these posts for a few weeks as my weekends have been a money-spending free, chillout to the max type of weekend. However, there has been the odd exciting moment in life, it hasn't all been grey and dreary!
1. Jay got me some beautiful flowers for V-Day and my daffodils have been topped up.
2. My second day of work consisted of attending a conference which I was driven to in a self-driving car. It was very strange/terrifying/exciting at the same time.
3. Shit got real in Dickensian this week. I'm not going to give away any spoilers but what does Frances think she is doing? And Mrs Cratchit- I didn't see that one coming.
4. I will be returning to work tomorrow to a new desk and this makes me crazily happy.
5. I have ended up with more of a social life now I'm working, compared to when I had all the time in the world, I'm sure it's meant to be the other way round! (It did mean a double date to Byron Burger and a spontaneous night out filled with cocktails so I'm not really complaining)
6. I got round to booking flights and a hotel for Barcelona in May to then realise I wasn't set up on the company's software to book time off, living on the wild side of life #YOLO {FYI: I have now managed to book the time off}
7. It was announced that the script for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be made into a book! I may being seeing the show, but this is just as exciting!
8. I met a four-month old puppy and I don't think I've ever come across something with so much energy- she was adorable!
9. I've swapped my feet for fins and I'm currently digging this whole swimming thing.
10. We've bagged Sky Movies for a month and it is spectacular.
There we have a pretty accurate run down of my past two weeks. I have managed to survive work without making a fool of myself, and got away lightly with question time at my welcome lunch. Pretty Little Liars has also got me questioning why I still watch it with this new Spaleb nonsense, I wish for the return of Spoby and Haleb. Hope you guys have a superb week!

Little Things #15
Today concludes my final thirteen days of ultimate laziness and I have soaked up every second. Tomorrow marks the beginning of my first proper job and I am pooping my pants, super excited. In this run up over the past weeks, I have got my shit together in prepping my wardrobe, desk and lunches- very important. I have also made the most of spending time with Jay, including a jam packed two days this weekend sightseeing, York Residents Festival has been great! For now I leave you with what else I've been up to the past two weeks that don't involve anything to do with my new job. {Editors note: The novelty of this working business will wear off soon}
1. I was reunited with my Papa and other family members last week and it was nice to have a sit down and a catch up, even if the SatNav took us up the most mountainous, skinniest lane ever.
2. We've added two new house plants to our abode and our fingers are getting greener. (Names are yet to come)
3. Mary Berry hit our screens this week and it made my Wednesday night! What could be better than Bake Off with celebrities who have no idea what they're doing? And it's all in the name of Sports Relief!
4. ELLE's March edition arrived in my postbox this week and it's a fat one.
5. After a few evenings of binge watching, we're up to date on Dickensian and I'm hooked #hurryupWednesday
7. Holly and Phillip turned up to This Morning white-girl-wasted last Thursday and it was the best.
8. I've felt like Dora the Explorer visiting lots of new and exciting places, who says weekends have to be boring.
9. J K Rowling has released the goss on the wizarding schools across the pond, muggles everywhere are in for a treat!
My stomach is rumbling away as our roast dinner is cooking in the oven and we've got The Incredibles to watch so that's my cue to stop babbling. I've also got some lunch to prepare and an outfit to decide on so I need to get moving if I want to get my 8 hours sleep tonight too. Wish me luck that I don't trip up and embarrass myself on day 1.

Little Things #14
Hola amigos and a happy Monday to you all. Today's horoscope tells me that next Sunday's full moon is in my sign, take that as you wish as I know I am. The past week has been a busy one and almost definitely included antarctic temperatures, but you may have noticed that my blog has had a bit of an uplift and I'm loving it. The last 7 days have also brought some sad news into light, with the passing of David Bowie and Alan Rickman, people who you always think will live forever. But in celebration of their lives we've had Bowie's songs filling the air and re-started our Harry Potter marathon for the 1248594 billionth time. Although, in amongst the sadness there have been many moments that put a smile on my face.
1. Jason bought me some pretty flowers that are complimenting my table, a rare occasion I must add.
2. I started and finished Jessica Jones within the week. However it was announced that it's been renewed for a second season which I'm stupidly excited for.
3. A date has finally been set for Jason's brothers and partners to come up and visit, now it's time to get planning some fun activities.
4. Pretty Little Liars returned and as always left me as confused as ever, asking the infamous who, why, where, what, when and how questions.
5. The Ellen Show is coming to the UK, ITV have got themselves a steal!
6. When you wake up to sunshine it means a day at the seaside. We went on an adventure to Whitby, if you're lucky there will be a blog post coming soon!
7. Adele went on a car ride with James Cordon and it was everything you've ever dreamt of.
My week has been very TV/screen indulgent as you can tell, so this week I will be making sure I dig into my books a little more! Hope your week brings you winter flurries and warm hugs!

Little Things #13
It's been a while since one of these posts has appeared on my blog, I almost forgot that I had started this series. But never fear, they will be back on a weekly basis now normality has resumed and the Christmas madness is over, 349 days to go till Christmas 2016. I joke, I'm not really that crazy person who is counting down till this year's festivities, I am. Before I go off on a rambling about Christmas I'm going to end this intro here, and leave you with what I've been loving this week. {I've said Christmas far too many times in one paragraph}
1. I'm completely obsessed with my new, silver, shiny shoes. I could not resist these after spotting them in Matalan, and when I saw the price tag of only £4, holla January sales, I pretty much jumped up and down on the spot. They may not be winter wearable but they make my feet look, in the words of Sharpay Evans, fabulous.
2. Sherlock Holmes graced our screens once again. It may have been the most confusing episode ever but nonetheless it lived up to expectations. {Ed's note: Don't watch it slightly hungover or sleep deprived, it will leave you mind-boggled}
3. Prince George once again made the nation 'awwww' after photos were released of his first day at nursery, just look at his golden locks and chubby cheeks!
4. I, Bethany Webb, have started running. I can happily admit I'm not getting very far, at the moment, but it's crazy how much better it can make you feel. If you ever see a girl wearing a neon pink running top and Christmas pudding hat then that will be me.
5. January sales also saw me adding this beauty to my spring wardrobe. Everyone needs a coat for every season right?
6. Rumour has it that Emma Stone is set to play Cruella De Vil in a new live action film surrounding the fur coat, stiletto wearing villain. If this is set to be anything like Maleficent then we are in for a treat.
7. Another Emma related point, but this time it's about my-ultimate-girl-crush, Emma Watson. She announced this week that she's starring a feminist book club and I cannot wait to see her recommendations.
8. Jason's mumma hit the mark with this scarf (pictured) for Christmas. It doubles up as a travel blanket and it's my number one companion for setting foot outdoors.
9. My recent discovery has led to me finding out that the end of this month is in fact York Residents festival. In other terms if you live in York you get into lots of tourist attractions for free, now who's winning at life. York Dungeons and Castle Howard come at me.
That's all for now folks, I'm off to pack for a flying visit home for a family get together and to pick up my thermals as it's set to snow next week, hallelujah!

Little Things #12
How is it less than two weeks till Christmas! I feel like December is the month that goes the quickest and I so wish it didn't! This week has been a manic one of Christmas shopping and prepping but as you're reading this we will have driven home for Christmas singing our hearts out to Christmas songs. Although I'll miss our little flat and our own space, I'm looking forward to being home over the Christmas period enjoying the good food and festive fun! But for now I'll leave you with what's put me in my happy place recently.
1. Lakeland's KitchenAids are complete heart-eye emoji. I can't help but be drawn to them every time i'm in there. Once I have saved enough up for my country house it will be the first thing on my Christmas list.
2. The in-laws left the tub of Quality Street here and living with a lactose intolerant boyfriend has meant I've enjoyed munching my way through them all.
3. I finally made a light and fluffy sponge cake for Jason's last day of placement, which apparently went down a treat. I also made some super yummy mince pies which tasted delicious with a glass of mulled wine.
4. My Christmas shopping is just about finished, just a few more bits and bobs to get then they are ready to put under the tree.
5. Once Upon a Time took a turn this week and had all the feels whilst munching on my plate of nachos. It kills me having to wait a week until the next episode! #Iwillfindyou
6. We experienced our first flat fire alarm at 10pm on Thursday evening and it turns out when the fire alarm goes off in one building, it goes off in the other 10 buildings too. We did manage to finally meet our neighbours though, and turns out they have good taste in their pjs.
7. Last night Christmas came early to the flat. We cooked a mini roast dinner, watched Miracle on 34th Street {favourite Christmas film} and opened our stocking presents. December 25th I'm ready for you.
Have a super dooper week and soak in absolutely everything Christmassy.

Little Things #11
The weeks are just flying by and finally we've got some luck coming our way! I'm still jobless, but I'm working on that. This week saw the nation go crazy for Black Friday- I was in Leeds with a few hours to kill and sillyily made the decision to head round some shops. What a mistake that was, Leeds is busy enough as it is let alone throwing crazy Christmas shoppers into the mix. I did manage to grab myself what I think is an amazing purchase though, not a Black Friday purchase, which will be revealed very soon. We've only got one day left before we hit the big month. Only one more day before all you scrooges have to accept that it is well and truly the festive season. I've been getting into the full swing of everything Christmas this week which has meant my week has been a holly jolly one!
1. I finally got round to buying my Christmas cards and have never felt more grown up. Next thing on the list is to buy some stamps and have the debate over who gets to write them.
2. The Royal family shared these gorgeous pictures of Princess Charlotte looking as happy as can be.
3. I discovered that Canadian Netflix is the place to be, their Christmas selection of movies is amazing
4. My mum and her friend came to stay for the weekend to do their Christmas shopping and it was lovely having some company for the festive lead up. The also bought us chocolates and wine #result
5. I baked a bakery's worth of gingerbread, filling my flat with a heavenly smell. You can check out my recipe here.
6. Our Sunday afternoon was spent visiting a garden centre to buy some baubles and a garland, followed by a quick shop at Morrison's to stock up on mince pies and rounded off by a browse round Home Sense. (We also managed to get Jason's mum her Christmas present which is so unusual but super cool)
7. We then spent Sunday evening decorating the flat, Christmas tree still to come, cooking a roast dinner and settling down to watch Christmas movies followed by The Hunt #amazeballs
I hope you're all getting stuck into the festive spirit and if not why not? Don't be a #bahhumbug

Little Things #10
What a week, or should I say two weeks. Life has been so hectic I haven't known whether I've been coming or going, but I'm back to some normality now which means back to some regular blog posts- hurrah! I can't explain how much bad luck I've experienced over the past two weeks, and it doesn't seem to be changing any time soon but I've been learning to focus on the good things at the moment and forget about the bad things that are going on. So what better way to do that, then to look back over what nice things have happened...
1. I went home Friday before last to surprise my Mumma for a nice family weekend and it's safe to say it worked.
2. My weekend at home was full of everything Christmassy and I loved every second.
3. I got to see my favourite 4 year-olds and their little sister and it was lovely to spend some time with them.
4. My flat smells so cinnamonny after lighting this Yankee Candle my sister brought me
5. Lots of pennies later and Dudley the Peugeot is finally fixed
6. Our chili seeds are growing. You might remember me mentioning a while back thatwe Jay killed Frank the plant, so we recycled the soil and planted some chili seeds I got from Wahaca back in October
7. One week ago I walked across a stage and finally received my degree certificate. You can catch up on the written post of graduation here {The photo edition will be coming very soon}
8. I had a lovely weekend in Southampton filled with catch ups and dancing and relaxing
Hopefully my bad luck will turn to good very soon, but for now I'm going to fully immerse myself in the festive spirit and look forward to my Mumma coming up (again) for her Christmas shopping weekend.

Little Things #9
What a week. My brain is in full Christmas swing now if you hadn't already noticed by the picture. I may or may not be munching on a mince pie whilst I write this with Home Alone 2 on the TV {Netflix seem to have started their Christmas collection, so the first Home Alone was watched whilst I made my way through my everlasting pile of ironing- housewife material I know}. Anywhos, this week's weather may have been wet and miserable but spirits were high over here.
1. We put our left over pumpkins to good use, making some delicious home-made soup and pumpkin cupcakes.
2. The week countdown to Graduation week can begin and I cannot wait.
3. John Lewis' ad premiered on Friday and as always I was super impressed. Unlike previous years it doesn't have the usual Christmassy feel, but does send out an important message that we should be looking after our older generation.
4. I saw some pretty cool fireworks at a pretty cool venue which included a beautiful gift shop, scrummy food and lots of dancing.
6. My Christmas shopping has begun and there's nothing I adore more then finding that perfect gift for loved ones.
5. We ventured out into the Yorkshire Moors to find a new town to wander round and weren't we spoilt. It was full of independent gift shops and tea rooms my perfect combination.
6. Sunday = roast day. Not only did we have a roast, but I treated myself to a bath followed by watching episode two of The Hunt on BBC to round off the week. {I can't recommend this series enough- especially if you are a David Attenborough worshiper}
I hope you had a lovely week and are loving the Christmas filled advert breaks and chill in the air.

Little Things #8
Hello November! We said goodbye to pumpkins (well nearly in this house) and hello to everything Christmas- yes I have Christmas songs playing in the background. So far November has brought a strange, descending fog across the country and it has got noticeably chillier. However, this last week has been lovely, despite the rain and I had lots to keep me busy.
1. This week I have had many a gingerbread hot chocolate, which are delicious may I add, and I'm sure I will be having lots more of the coming weeks.
2. We may have killed Frank, but our little cactus is growing and it feels so satisfying looking back at pictures from when we first got him. #proudparents
3. I spent Halloween out in the grand old city on a ghost tour which I have to recomend to anyone visiting York. We also got a free orange glow stick and I found a candyfloss stall.
4. I had a lovely few days with my Mum and Dad which included some cute tea-rooms, millionaire's shortbread and fresh autumn air.
5. My shelfs are finally #shelfie material.
6. I bought A Christmas Carol in CEX for 75p, what a bargain!
Rumor has it John Lewis' Christmas advert will be debuting at 8:00am on Friday, make sure this is in your diaries. Enjoy your week!

Little Things #7
Been a while since I last did one of these posts, but that just means you'll get double the content in this one! This month is creeping away from us, which means Halloween is just round the corner and I have no idea what we're doing for it, but if you check back next week I might have thought of something spontaneously scary to celebrate this American tradition. In the mean time, here's what I've been loving this past fortnight.
1. I invested in a new lipstick, Rimmel 128: Starry-eyed if any of you were wondering, to complete my Autumn wardrobe.
2. In the past two weeks I have become a Sherlock Holmes obsess-er, and am now up to date with the rest of the world eagerly waiting the arrival of the new series.
3. We added a new pumpkin to our collection, a little white one to join her brothers ready to be carved. {If you're lacking inspiration Country Living posted a great article to spice up your creativity}
4. Big News: we have decided on our color theme for our Christmas tree. A very important decision which has come after many visits to garden centers.
5. We have been for some lovely walks in the great outdoors which has meant crunching crispy leaves and feeling the brisk October air on your face- what could be better!
6. Disney have announced they are bringing out their own style of Netflix and I am over the moon.
7. I treated myself to some seasonal Lush bits and am super excited to shut myself away in the bathroom for hours. You can see what I got here.
8. Yeo Valley have a limited edition Spiced Apple and Quince Yogurt out and it tastes like Autumn and Christmas rolled into one.
9. If you haven't already checked it out Pretty Little Liars has released their winter premiere and I cannot wait
10. My Mumma and Papa are visiting for a few days which means I get to spend some quality family time with them. They also came armed with roses and the rest of my stuff that wouldn't fit in the car.
Hope you all have a spooky filled week with lots of Halloween-ness involved!
